The Financial Hardship Grant Program provides targeted support to organisations, schools and volunteer groups who are helping local individuals and families through financial stress, crisis or rising living costs.
This program exists to ensure that help reaches people quickly, safely and through trusted local networks.
What This Grant Can Support
The Financial Hardship Grant provides funding to local organisations who are delivering practical assistance to community members experiencing financial pressure or unexpected life events.
Eligible projects may include:
Food relief and emergency essentials
School welfare initiatives (uniforms, books, camps, excursions)
Community programs supporting families under financial strain
Volunteer-led emergency or crisis assistance
Seasonal projects responding to high-demand periods
If your project helps reduce financial stress for local residents, it may be eligible.
