Support for Community-Led Recovery Projects
The Mirboo North Community Recovery Fund supports local groups, clubs and organisations delivering projects that help our community recover, reconnect and rebuild after the February 2024 storm.
If your project helps restore wellbeing, strengthen community connection, repair the landscape or improve disaster resilience, you may be eligible to apply.
What This Fund Supports
The Fund prioritises projects that:
Support mental health and wellbeing
Trauma-informed programs, activities for children and young people, and initiatives that help rebuild confidence and resilience.Reconnect community
Events and gatherings that bring people together after a challenging year.Repair and replant our landscape
Environmental recovery work, replanting, clean-up support and practical restoration projects.Improve safety for residents
Assistance with dangerous tree removal or minor repairs for residents who cannot manage storm damage on their own.
Who Can Apply
Local community groups, clubs, neighbourhood organisations and not-for-profits within the Mirboo North district that are delivering practical recovery outcomes.
