About the Fund

The Gippsland Sculpture Exhibition (GSE) Sub-Fund supports the ongoing success of the biennial Gippsland Sculpture Exhibition and the many creative and community activities surrounding it. Donations help GSE:

  • Deliver the Gippsland Sculpture Exhibition every two years

  • Run workshops and hands-on artistic programs that build creative skills

  • Provide free and low-cost community events, artist talks and demonstrations

  • Promote connection, inclusion and wellbeing through shared creative experiences

  • Strengthen resilience and adaptability within the Gippsland community

  • Grow local tourism and economic activity, positioning Yinnar as the Sculpture Culture Capital of Gippsland

Benefits of Supporting GSE

The Gippsland Sculpture Exhibition has become a major cultural event in our region, drawing visitors, supporting artists, and enriching community life. To ensure its long-term sustainability, the Exhibition has established a Named Sub-Fund within the Mirboo North & District Community Foundation.

This fund:

  • Provides a secure, long-term financial base for the Exhibition

  • Allows donors to make tax-deductible gifts through the Foundation’s Ancillary Fund

  • Ensures the Exhibition can continue to grow and evolve

  • Supports GSE’s objectives, including community engagement, improving wellbeing, and strengthening Yinnar’s identity as a cultural hub.
