National Communities Foundation Forum 2017

NCFF17

Network. Learn. Think. Do.

Community foundation staff, trustees and directors, representatives from the broader for-purpose sector, government and philanthropy will be converging at Melbourne’s iconic State Library from 17th to 19th October for the National Communities Foundation Forum (NCFF) 2017.  This Forum is the annual conference for Community Foundations to learn, share ideas and inspire each other.

This year the NCFF returns to Melbourne, and will be hosted by the Australian Communities Foundation, the Inner North Community Foundation and the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.

Taking place across three days, the program is a mix of the practical and the inspirational, featuring plenaries, keynotes and interactive workshops from international and local sector leaders, advisors, experts and thought leaders.

NCFF17 will explore the SMIRF capital of Community Foundations; that is the premise that meaningful change is achieved when Community Foundations leverage all forms of their capital; Social, Moral, Intellectual, Reputational as well as Financial; building networks and connections to foster a sense of belonging, reflecting and protecting our community’s values, leveraging our deep local knowledge, and using our positions as trusted local leaders to lift-up, empower and enfranchise community organisations or citizen groups that are often over-looked and disadvantaged.

NCFF17 is set to be another memorable Forum and one you won’t want to miss whether you’re a new or experienced Community Foundation practitioner!

NCFF17 represents fantastic value for money. A full pass includes access to all sessions, workshops of your choice, lunch, morning and/or afternoon tea, networking and social events including Tuesday’s Delegates Reception and Wednesday’s National Community Foundation Dinner and Awards.
