A shared space for community connection

Mirboo North & District Community Foundation

Co-space was established as a welcoming and flexible community hub where local people, groups and organisations can connect, collaborate and access support.

Located in the heart of Mirboo North, Co-space provides a shared environment for meetings, workshops, community programs and local initiatives. The space has become an important point of connection within the district, supporting everything from volunteering and recovery initiatives through to learning opportunities and community gatherings.

By creating a place where people can come together, share ideas and access support, Co-space continues to strengthen social connection and community resilience across the district.

“Strong communities are built through connection, accessibility and shared spaces.”

Keeping community moving and connected

The Mirboo North Community Bus provides accessible and affordable transport for local community groups, organisations and residents.

Whether supporting social outings, educational activities, wellbeing programs or local events, the Community Bus helps reduce barriers to participation and ensures more people can stay connected to community life.

The service continues to play an important role in improving accessibility, encouraging inclusion and supporting community participation across the district.
