Understanding Aged Care Services Seminar 

Laura Corbett from Latrobe Community Health Service will be coming back to Mirboo North to give a seminar on Wednesday 25th February at 1pm at the Baromi Centre.  Following on from the Seminar she gave last July, Laura is also going to be joined by two colleagues who will speak about the Carers Program and Care Finders Program. 

What the seminar will cover

At this informative session, which is being hosted by U3A, Mirboo North & District and the Community Foundation, Laura will explain to everyone how to go about registering with My Aged Care, what the assessment involves, how long approval takes and advice on finding the best service provide amongst other things. 

The free one-on-one sessions with Laura will also continue monthly through 2026.  
If you book a free appointment, Laura can help you work through the My Aged Care application process online or by phone, or she can help you progress existing applications that may have hit a road block.
