About our Community Grants

In our first ten years, we granted more than $1.5 million to over 70 different community or not-for-profit organisations. These funding recipients have been located in Mirboo North, Boolarra, Dumbalk, Mirboo, Thorpdale, Narracan, Yinnar, Hallston and Allambee.

Funding has supported the areas of Environment, Education, Youth, Health and Well-being, Arts and Culture and Community Strengthening. The Community Grants Program ensures that there are opportunities to support local people to develop solutions, build capacity and share skills in the community.

The Community Foundation has supported projects such as school drumming, mental health & well being programs, community access workshops,  all ability play-ground equipment and community gardens projects.

Note: this year we have an additional stream of funding for recovery and resilience projects.  If this is applicable to your project, please include some information about why and how the project or grant will support recovery or resilience in the community within your application.
