What The Fund Supports

The Mirboo North Community Seniors Fund is a perpetual fund, set up when the local seniors organisation decided to wind up its operations and donate its assets to the Community Foundation.

Each year the earnings from this fund will be distributed to projects and programs which benefit our older adults, making it available to future generations of older adults as suited to their needs at that time.

These programs include subsidised community lunches, low-cost outings and excursions (often using the community bus to bring people together), live-music events, and opportunities for engagement through the local U3A Mirboo North & District and other groups.

Support our Seniors

A donation will support the health & well-being of our senior community through programs, projects and activities which reduce social isolation, support living longer at home and enhance connectedness
