Foundation Community Grants now open

Do you have a great idea that needs funds to bring it to life?

The Mirboo North & District Community Foundation’s Community Grants are now open to help local initiatives, events, and organisations thrive with financial support.

We are often able to avail of opportunities locally to try out art classes or fitness programs, dance classes or table tennis, due to volunteers getting grant funding and working to make it happen.
The same can be said of our community events: energetic volunteers secure grants and sponsorship and bring culture, magic and fun right to our doorstep, while also showcasing our town to the broader region.

Does your organisation need equipment or funds to maintain the service you bring to the community?
This might be working with young people, providing education for the third age (U3A), supporting those in financial hardship, documenting our history (Mirboo & District Historical Society) or creating public radio programs like South Coast FM.

We are always keen to receive applications that will support the older folk in our community because the income earned by the Mirboo North Community Seniors Fund goes directly to support these grant applications.

If your thinking is more focused on preparedness for the future or continuing to get groups of impacted people together, given the year we have had, there is also a grant stream to support those projects.

Don’t be put off by the process.

Whatever your idea might be or whatever your community organisation does, contact us to discuss the best way to fund your ideas and make them happen.
Drop in to Co-Space (96 Ridgway) in the morning from Monday – Friday to see Ruth or Dani; or call Ruth on 0418 301 092.

All of the details about Grants can be found HERE, where you can also apply directly.
