There’s no place like home, and with the right support you or your loved ones can stay there for longer. A seminar being hosted by the U3A Mirboo North & District on Wednesday 30th July will provide information on accessing home care supports and carer programs, including registering with My Aged Care.
This free local seminar is being given by Laura Corbett from Latrobe Community Health Service at the Darlimurla Hall on Wednesday 30 July at 1.00pm [Address: 30 Cornell Road, Darlimurla].
The Community Foundation is providing the Community Bus to transport those who aren’t sure where the venue is or who can’t drive themselves.
The bus has 11 spaces and will leave the Co-Space / Community Foundation office and drive to Darlimurla Hall at 12.30pm on 30 July.
Afternoon tea is also supported by the Mirboo North Seniors Fund. If you could RSVP for Community Bus and catering purposes, that would be helpful.
Call Pamela on 0438 898 510.
Laura Corbett will also be coming to Mirboo North one day a month to provide opportunities for one-on-one sessions to cover more specific queries or help you register yourself on My Aged Care.
The dates will be announced at the seminar and will be published in the paper thereafter, with bookings required through the Community Foundation.
